Abstract

The cylinder lock with two separated axially aligned rotors. The space separating the two rotor has a rotating locking lug and a coupling arrangement formed by two rotating and connected tangs. The coupling can be moved axially into a slot of the locking lug and into a slot of a rotor. This prevents access for opening by drilling a hole for reaching the coupling arrangement. At least one of the tangs (10) of the coupling arrangement is made of hardened steel. Alternatively it can have on its end face carbide inserts. The hardness of a metal insert is higher than the hardness of the embedding material of the tang. Carbide balls can be used as inserts.
