Abstract

The cloche is made from plastic sheet stretched over wire hoops pushed into the ground. This forms a tunnel, each end of the sheet being pegged down. A plastic tube is suspended inside clips (10) formed as part of each hoop. The tube has internal channels, each having fine perforations. One end of the tube is closed, and the other end (14) is connected to a water supply for a fine mist spray to water the plants without removing the covers. The plastic sheet and wire hoops can be replaced by rigid formed plastic sides and a plastic suspension clip, which also assembles the cloche.
