Abstract

The irrigation-pipe (1) is preferably made of flexible material so that it can be flattended and wound onto a reel. The pipe (1) has a lengthwise duct from which alternate feet (3, 4) are splayed outwards on either side. The feet (3, 4) are curved, with one or more lengthwise ridges to increase their rigidity. Holes or slits (5) in the pipe (1) on a level with the duct (2) open out between the feet (3, 4). The pipe (1) is filled with water which drips out through the holes (5) down the feet (3, 4) into the ground. The irrigation pipe is preferably made of extruded synthetic resin material, and the feet are cut out of the skirt below the pipe at the same time as the slits or holes.
