Abstract

The device is placed inside the plant container (1). It consists of a water reservoir (2) supplied by a pipe (4) from outside the plant container. A wick (3) is connected to the water distributor (6). The device may include a float to indicate the water level. The reservoir includes a circular hole (9) for the pipe (4), a slot (10) for the wick and a perforated strip for the drainage of the container. Several containers can be connected by means of pipes fitting into holes in adjacent containers. The filler pipe is notched (8) so that it may be easily cut to the desired length at the notches and facilitating the connection of the pipe to the container.
