Abstract

Fuel economiser consist of a slide valve n1) positioned downstream to the throttle valve (3). The slide valve is normally held in the open position by a pull spring and moved into the fuel and or air blocking position by a remote controlled electrical circuit. The electrical circuit consists of a micro switch (6) whose contacts are closed by a lever (7) above to pivot freely around the throttle valve shaft (10). The lever (7) is actuated by a disc segment (9) and a friction grip (8). Lever movement is limited by an adjustable stop (11) on the acceleration side and by the micro switch movement on the slow running side. An adjustable stop (12) is additionally fitted on the disc segment to press the actuator lever against (7) the micro switch.
