Abstract

A structural panel is made by positioning a metal or plastic frame surround in a mould so that it encloses the periphery of the mould cavity. Foamed plastic matl. is then injected to form the panel and interlocks with keying formations on the surround. Used esp. for mfr. of doors with aluminium surround. A single mould can be used for different size doors.
