Abstract

The motor has a commutator (50) and a simple fixing means for its brushes. The brushes are prevented from shifting in angle. The rotating commutator segments are mounted on the end face of the rotor assembly and the brushes press in an axial direction against them. Each brush consists of a broad radial arm (60) with a contact button at its free end resting against the commutator end contact faces. The other end of each brush is fixed to a support ring mounted to the end cap of the motor. Angular displacement of the brushes is prevented by a point and notch arrangement.
