Abstract

The fixing is for butt joints formed of two pieces of wood (1, 2) at right angles to each other. The fixing has a closing circular eccentric which can turn in one of two elements to join them and a joining tie which has one end engaging in the eccentric and with its other end in the second element. The tie (7) has at its end (10) a part (11) of reduced section. A locating washer (9) is hemispherical and seats in a housing (8). In the other wood piece (2) is a similar opening (3) in which can turn an eccentric (4) acting on an enlarged end (6) of the tie, which it can tighten when turned.
