Abstract

A kitchen mincing machine is for preparing herb food dressings such as parsley without juice loss. The screw (2) forces the ingredients along a tubular housing (12) and out through a perforated grill plate (8). The grill perforations (8a) are solely in the annular area between the screw periphery and the housing walls (12). The screw end (9) is also plane and bears flush on the grill plate (8) so as to exclude material from this interface. The mincer housing includes a feed tube (6) for feeding produce between the screw and the tubular housing. The screw may be hollow and have an internally recessed closure disc at the grill end. The screw threads (14) may have greater side slope (13) inclinations facing the grill (8).
