[Also in Divisions B1, B2, B3 and B8] A domestic electric mixer having two parallel shafts 8 driving stirrers, beaters or other attachments may be used in conjunction with a vessel 41 the bottom edge of which is provided with a rubber ring 49. In a juice extractor attachment, Fig. 5, one of the shafts 8 drives a rotating member 62 having a central upstanding portion 63 against which may be held half a citrus fruit; by reason of the internal edges 66 the juice passes by centrifugal action through the perforations 64 into the collecting cup 61 and is discharged by the spout 65. In another attachment for scraping fruit and vegetables, Fig. 6, one of the shafts 8 drives a cup-shaped interchangeable scraper 74, the fruits &c. being introduced at 72 and pressed against the scraper by a plunger 73.
