Abstract

Each rear upright (1, 2) inclines at approximately 6 deg. and is reinforced by a stay (23). Stays and uprights are joined at the top by a horizontal square tube rail (5) passing through loops (10, 28) and pinned. The foot of the rack comprises forward projecting feet (9) joined to the uprights by nuts and bolts (24, 34) and, at the front, similarly to a crossbar (6). Glass leans against the uprights and is retained by bars having lugs fitting into holes in the feet, their tops being held by straps and locked in placeon the top rail. All contact surfaces are padded.
