Abstract

The harrow tine is a bar with a renewable tip at the ground end and coiled around to form a spring loop of S-shape. The other end is attached to the chassis. The loop end (7) is flattened and passes through a slot (2) in a bracket and under the support bar (8) on the chassis. The bracket is L-shaped, with the slot in the shorter limb (1). The longer limb (3) has a spring tang (5) each side, for gripping and locating on each side of the support bar. A bolt (9) passes through holes (4, 10) in the flattened end of the tine and the bracket and clamps bolt together around the support bar.
