Abstract

The system for feeding fuel to an engine has, for each cylinder, a shock wave tube which is open to the atmosphere and communicates at its inner end with an inlet orifice. A device forming an orifice is disposed in the tube wall. The tube is provided with a device for interrupting a shock wave to prevent its reflection. The fuel is introduced into the tube through the orifice, an obturator being disposed in the tube at a point between the fuel inlet orifice and the cylinder inlet port.
