Abstract

The closing mechanism is used in a drinks vending machine, for dispensing a given mixture of syrup and water. The mechanism uses an electromagnetic flap valve (7) with the container (1) for the syrup being of ferrous metal and connected via a magnetic coupling ring (2) held by a support to a supply conduit (6) for the syrup, leading to the valve (7). The electromagnetic valve (7) also has an incoming supply conduit (8) for water, the mixture of syrup and water supplied to a dispensing conduit (9) which has a dispensing valve (10) at the bottom. There may be a further valve (5) between the syrup container (1) and the supply conduit (1).
