Abstract

The self-locking screw has a threaded cylindrical part, at the end of which is a frusto conical part. At the other end of the screw has a hexagonal head (4). The slot (5) is machined in the conical end. The edge of the cone bites into the plastic and engagement with the slot ensures locking. The screw is used to fix thin plastics parts without deforming them.
