Abstract

The jewellery chain fastener (101) consists of an open ring (105) to which the last links (103, 104) of the chain are connected. The ring is shaped or cut out from solid material and is rectangular in shape. The ring is closed by a sliding tube (109) activated by a spring (113). The sliding tube moves along the length of one of the long sides (108) of the ring and has a flange (112) at the end by which it can be moved. The eyelet (102) to which the links of the bracelet is connected, is an integral part of the ring and is on the short side (107') of the ring.
