Abstract

The electrical distribution system supplies a number of heating circuits from different phases and neutral as well as a number of electrical appliances. The system contains as many contactors as there are heating circuits and appliances. It uses a switching device which operates continuously and automatically, and is used to interrupt periodically and successively the windings of the heating circuits contactors. The system has also a multiposition manual switch which, for each position controls a relay whose contacts supply the winding of an appliance selected by switch, and disconnects the contactor winding of certain predetermined heating circuits. In addition to the automatic and manual switches the system has another switching circuit. This circuit has an arrangement of contacts which enables one to supply, from a single phase, the cooking appliances from the phase which, at a given instant, is not supplying a heating circuit.
