Abstract

The special toilet seat is provided with warm-water cleaning and warm-air drying systems which are mounted in a closed support housing wherein the lid of this housing serves as the point of articulation for the lift-up toilet seat and cover lid, so that the normal up and down movement of the latter is not impeded. This special seat can be attached to all standard porcelain toilets by means of an intermediate plate and screws wherein, prior to fixing, the screw holes are drilled into the seat to match those in the toilet. An electronic switch system can be built in so that the different functions of the cleansing system can be operated automatically.
