Abstract

The plastic pants are joined together in strips (1) and can be separated from each other by tearing along lines of perforations (3). The leg openings are formed by tearing round curved lines of perforations (5). The size of the openings can be varied by the provision of a series of parallel lines of perforations. Each pair of pants has a drawstring (6) at the top to fasten them round the waist. The strip of pants is tubular and the crotch of the pants are formed by lines of heat welding (4) across the tube, near the lines of perforations.
