Abstract

A fault signal corresponding to a fault in the material is amplified and detected, or impedance change of the test coils is measured, caused by changes in eddy currents induced in the test piece. A feed-back circuit consists of a feed-back amplifier and test coils. Impedance change of test coils due to material fault in the test piece is converted into the feed-back amplifier gain, and the amplifier output voltage is measured or detected, so that a signal proportional to the fault can be collected.
