Abstract

The vertical egg-shaped cabin of plastic or fibre-glass, is for use as an outdoor ticket or newspaper vending cabin, or campsite shower cubicle, and has a closed, enlarged flat base. The cabin accommodates a single person with freedom of movement, and has a lateral access opening (1). It is built up from two vertical demi-shells (2, 4) which are joined by bolts through edge flanges. Cabin enlargement can be provided by using extension pieces (3) fitting between the two primary demi-shells. A ticket hatch (5) with internal and external shelving (6) can be provided in a wall or on the door and internal shell insulation can be appended.
