Abstract

The electric transformer cubicle is for mounting in the open air, having sidewalls and roof forming a body rotating in relation to one or more stationary closing walls. It moves between an open position, in which one or more openings in sidewall or roof are free, and a closed one where these openings are shut off by the stationary walls. Sidewalls and roof (1, 2) can be in one piece, and of reinforced concrete, the sidewalls constituting an upright round cylindrical tube. The roof can be domed. The sidewalls can work in conjunction with a round floor (4) of the same dia., and on which there is a diametral upright partition wall.
