Abstract

Radiator comprises extruded ribbed pipes (1) and transverse collectors (2), of which the latter have cylindrical surfaces for connection to the ribbed pipes and thicker walls with annular grooves for receiving connectors for the rib pipes. Sealing between the ribbed pipes and collectors is provided by O rings (4), and at the ends of the radiator are tie strips (6) for holding it together. The O rings may be disposed on inserts (3) inserted between collectors and rib bed pipes, and the tie strips may be connected to the collectors by threaded sections, stoppers or valves inserted in holes (9) in the collectors.
