Abstract

The tubular frame construction for doors and fixed glazings in smokeproof version with glazing which is fire-resistant has a subconstruction made from steel tubes. The subconstruction is constructed from rectangular tubes (1a, 3a) or L-shaped tubes. In the rebate region, rebate tubes (2a, 4a) or rebate tube parts are provided. Fixed on the subconstruction are covering profiles (10, 19) preferably made of light metal. The material outlay for the construction according to the invention is kept low by three basic types of covering profile being provided, namely a symmetrical covering profile for glazing on both sides and two asymmetrical versions (10, 19), in which a cover for the glass-holding angle (18) is provided on one side, while the other side corresponds respectively to the narrow or wide aspect of the rebate profile construction.
