Abstract

The arrangement comprises a back plate whose lower end slopes towards the wall, a carrier pivoted about a horizontal axis at the lower end of the backplate, and an annular locating element pivoted about a horizontal axis at the upper end of the back plate. The back plate is provided with a lock which is key-operated. A counter-plate is secured to the wall and has a cup-shaped seat to act in conjunction with the lock. The counter plate and the back plate have means to prevent their relative rotary motion about the centre line of the lock. The design is especially suitable for fixing equipment in rail vehicles.
