Abstract

1,183,018. Arm rests. AUTOMOBILWERK EISENACH VEB. 6 Aug., 1968, No. 37362/68. Heading A4J. A hollow thermoplastic blow moulding, intended to be attached to an internal panel of a vehicle for use as an arm rest, has fold-like recesses 4<SP>1</SP>, 4<SP>11</SP>, in the front wall, to provide vertical resiliency. A single recess (4) may additionally be provided, in part of the rear wall, between two fastening means. Alternatively, the support surface 1 may be cantilevered out over a single front wall recess 4<SP>1</SP> (Fig. 4, not shown). Hollow spigots (8) may be used to fasten the moulding to the vehicle panel on integral flanges (12) may be employed. The part (7) may be clamped between a metal plate (13, Fig 6 not shown) and the panel (16), by means of a screw (15).
