Abstract

The hot and cold liquid mixing valve has a mixing chamber into which the hot and cold liquid streams may be fed through separate regulating passages. Each passage is provided with a control member valve which bears on an annular seat to close the passage, the valve member bearing elastically on a fixed abutment when it is in the open position. The mixing valve has an externally operable control member whch is arranged to permit the displacement of a pusher between two extreme positions. In each of these extreme positions the pusher maintains one valve fully open and the other fully closed. The control valves are in the form of flap valves.
