Abstract

Electrical connector, particularly intended for motor vehicle batteries, where an alarm system employing a transformer having one winding around the battery lead is required to be fitted. The adaptor has a heavy clip(16) and a copper extension(14) arm to provide fitting to the battery terminal(13). This may also be in a suitable form for connection to hole and block battery terminals. The copper extension, preferably bent through 90 deg. has at opposite end a terminal(19), to which the vehicle battery lead will be attached. Below this terminal, a moulded insulation block(22) houses the transformer winding(1) with two output leads(20) and a further lead(21) connected directly to the copper extension.
