Abstract

The electric lock has a uni-directional electric motor (17-19) moving the bolt (13) using a cam plate (23) acting with two bolt-mounted rollers (15), and an electric supply circuit. Bolt travel is limited by two microswitches actuated by a bolt projection (13A), and the supply circuit has bolt opening and closure control units which act with the microswitches at the respective extremities of bolt travel. Opening and closure command pulses start the motor, with one microswitch maintaining power to the motor until the particular bolt movement is terminated.
