Abstract

The three point hitch of a tractor is attached to a horizontal cross rail which is mounted on a wheel near each end. The rail carries a frame, held in pivots and extending rearwards to be supported on wheels. Several seats and foot rests are provided for operators, facing rearwards and having platforms for the plant boxes. A furrow is opened up beneath each operator and, after inserting a plant, this is closed by blades trailing at the rear. All assemblies are fully adjustable and a marker is provided on the cross rail to aid the tractor driver on his next run.
