Abstract

The inside of a hermetically sealing housing is equipped with a suction inlet and outlet for a fan (31) whose pressure outlet (33) is coupled to the housing outlet. A filter (20) is inserted in the suction inlet and the substance to be dispensed is arranged in the housing between the filter and the outlet. Pref. the housing outlet is covered by a grid; also the replaceable filter contains active carbon; whilst the disinfectant or other additive is provided as a liquid in a reservoir (41) with absorbent wicks (42) extending from the reservoir freely into the housing cavity. A timer (50) is provided to periodically switch the fan on and off.
