Abstract

The tubular-type, lattice-shaped wire reinforcing cage is assembled from two pairs of pre-formed previously assembled components made up from wire elements extending axially and peripherally. The first pair, of identical construction, form the apex or base quadrants of the tubular cage, the second pair, also of identical structure, forming the interfacing connecting quadrants. The first pair possess greater tension amplifying characteristics than the second pair. The peripherally extending wires may have bent hook wedges at their opposite ends, for gripping an axially extending wire on an adjacent lattice components, to assist in holding them together when assembled.
