Abstract

The vertical cylindrcial inlet block (1) of the valve has an upper, rectangular section recess (4), and a small axial through hole (2). A top cover (7) screws externally down onto the lower block trapping an intermediate rubber disc (8), both having coincident axial holes. In the cavity between lower block and disc slides a brass piston (5) with eccentric holes (6). As the feed pressure through the hole (2) rises, the valve is lifted against the disc, blocking off part of its through holes and so reducing the fluid flow. The valve may be used for irrigation or sprinkling.
