Abstract

The equipment is particularly for use on coronary arteries, having a fork oscillating about a shaft and whose arms carry the X-ray source and receiver. The shaft slides in-side a bush without being able to pivot in relation to it. The bush is pivot-suspended by an arm-supporting truck balanced on a set of slides so that it can slide vertically and horizontally in relation to the frame. The bush (8) is fixed to a slide mounted perpendicular to the plane of the fork (11), and a first shoe travels on this slide, while a second one mounted perpendicular to the first travels along a second slide attached to the main frame by a shaft pivoting on its axis. One of the shoes at least has a brake preventing it from movement on its slide.
