Abstract
An input circuit consisting of an arrangement of capacitances and resistances is for application to differential operational amplifiers, which attenuates the effect of interference or disturbance signals. The operational amplifier has two inputs, one inverting (3) and the other non inverting (2) and a disturbance pulse on one of these can lead to unbalanced conditions at the output (4). To avoid this the two inputs are coupled through a capacitance (7) of size determined by the amplifier and signal characteristics, so that any disturbance on one input, arising typically from power supply disturbance, is to a large extent offset by the application of almost the same signal to the other input. A network of resistances (8, 9, 10, 11, 13) completes the arrangement.
