Abstract
A swimming pool is built from at least two reinforced convex elements joined together to form an arch. In order to give improved rigidity both vertically and horizontally and possibly allowing the convex shape to be changed in order to make round, rectangular and polygonal pools each element has, at its upper and lower edges, flanges turned outwards with steel bars passing vertically along the outside face between the flanges. At each end of each bar is ahook for the attachment of horizontal bars which act as reinforcements and form a band around the upper and lower parts of the pool.
