Abstract

In a vehicle wheel for dual tyres, the brake drum, or at least the part of the brake drum which is acted on by the brake linings is to remain uninfluenced by the inner rim. In this way, it is ensured that forces which act between the inner rim and the annular flange of the wheel hub do not adversely affect the brake drum. For this purpose, the vehicle wheel consists of a housing (1), connected to the outside of the wheel hub (2), for a hub gear (not illustrated) and of a brake drum (5) attached to the inside of the wheel hub, and of an outer rim (10) and an inner rim (11). The brake drum is connected to an annular flange (3) of the hub (2) by means of screws (9) which simultaneously also serve to attach a carrying ring (6) for the inner rim.
