Abstract

An acrobatic cycle has one wheel (7) mounted above another (16) with both wheels retained inside a frame (1). The frame has a lower elongated U shaped portion (3) and a pillar (2) attached to the top, carrying a saddle (8) the upper wheel incorporating the pedals (9). The lower wheel is driven by the friction of the upper wheel, both wheels having pneumatic tyres (22, 23). The friction between the tyres can be controlled by adjusting the height of the spindle of the lower wheel, this spindle being supported on each side by an eye bolt (16) passing through a bracket (20) each side and fitted with a lock nut (18) each side. Further wheels can be mounted on the frame (1).
