Abstract

The mounting for making a detachable connection for a telescopic sight is used especially for shotguns. The arrangement has two mounting feet and two coupling plates. This mounting is relatively simple to produce and it ensures accurate and play free holding on the gun. Both mounting feet (3, 4) are provided with conical pins (5) and the mounting plates (7, 8) have conical openings (6) which match the taper of the pin. The pins are pushed into these openings and locked by a lock (10) which is rotated through half full circle. This lock engages with a half moon shaped openings (11), in the pins on rotation.
