Abstract

The system incorporates an internal combustion engine with inlets for fuel and air, an exhaust and a cooling system. A rotary machine is coupled to the engine so as to absorb its power. A heat exchanger is connected to the engine, cooling and recycling and the coolant from the latter. This heat exchanger is also connected to the rotary machine, and recieves, cools and recycles a second working fluid, arriving as a vapour from the machine. The latter can have a drive shaft coupled to that of the engine so as to allow the latter to receive power from it.
