Abstract

The anti-roll stabiliser uses a combination of gas and hydraulic circuits for smooth action and can be used for light or heavy vehicles. It uses a pendulum weight (1) which is connected by a tie (2) to a valve (3). The valve controls a vacuum feed circuit and distributes the vacuum to a servo motor which transfers hydraulic fluid to one or other of the hydraulic rams (10), (12) to tilt the vehicle body (14) towards the inside of a curve. The servo motor has two pistons (8), (9) which feed hydraulic fluid via pipes (11), (13).
