Abstract

A sleeve (1) fits into a counterbore (2) in the body of a base and is held by a rib (4). In the bottom of the counterbore is an 0 ring seal (8) fitting over the pushed-in tube (9). The head of the sleeve has two slots locating a square section clip (13, 13a) having one edge (14, 14a) elongated to bite into the tube around the outer surface. Pressure is maintained on this clip by a circular spring (15) fitting in a groove (16) in its periphery: the ends (18, 18a) of the clip being used for inserting a screwdriver blade to open the clip and release the tube (9).
