Abstract

The machine is situated at the outlet end of a pick-up baler bale chamber, and receives the bales between two rubber conveyors which throw them. The conveyors are each guided and driven by two rollers, wider than the belts which run on them, which are mounted on two upward inclined frames, the lower of which is fixed, while the upper is pivoted at the inlet on the lower frame. Between each pair of driving rollers are rollers with flanges for the accurate guidance of the conveyors. The conveyors bear transverse bars to improve their grip on the bales. The driving rollers are driven by means of one belt which can be tensioned, and are thus synchronised.
