Abstract
The system works off an electric supply, having a refrigeration unit acting as a heat pump and heat exchanger batteries for cooling and heating. Heat is extracted from the air before discharge to the outside by circulation of the refrigerating fluid and transferred direct to the air delivered into the rooms. Heating of air can be effected in two stages, by passing it over heat exchange surfaces in succession, and an auxiliary heat exchanger can be included in the refrigeration circuit, heating washing water or a storage tank. An auxiliary exchanger in the refrigeration system allows cooling of a fluid independently from the extracted air and the room air supply cooling.
