Abstract

The wood plate (10) has slots which slide over the vertical ends of the bent rear parts of two rigid support arms which are typically metal. The plate and arms, are clamped together by threaded hooks and wing nuts. Each arm rests on the stern of the inflatable boat and is fixed at the stern by means of a bracket and pin. The forward end of each arm is held by the rowlock base support where a fork fits under the rowlock. The arms may easily be removed when not needed but may also remain in position in the boat without inconvenience.
