Abstract

A drive for angular speed transducer is used as part of an anti-skidding breaking system for road vehicles. The transducer has a stator and a rotor which rotates with respect to the stator such that an electromotive force is induced in a winding. This electromotive force is oscillating with a frequency which increases and decreases proportionally with any increase or decrease of the angular speed. This electromotive force is used to actuate an anti-skidding device when the deceleration is greater than a set value. The drive also has a shaft with a gear wheel. The shaft has an extension with another gear wheel which drives a tachometer by means of another gear wheel.
