Abstract

The machine is particularly for cleaning rubbish chutes having a swivel head travelling inside the chute and equipped with a number of nozzles on the ends of projection arms connected to a distributor box with a hollow shaft. The latter is connected to a static pressure vessel in turn supplied with fluid under pressure. The seal between the open end (8a) of the hollow shaft (8) of the box (6) and the vessel (25) is provided by a ring (26) sliding axially in a housing in the vessel (27). The ring is subjected to the pressure in the vessel, which forces it against the hollow shaft end.
