Abstract
The ignition time control, for an internal combustion engine, has devices (2-7) to process signals from an angle coder, from a comparator (210) and from an automatic advance network such that the required advance angle is controlled and the charge time of the ignition coil. The angle coder contains a rotating element to which a position detector belongs that produces a rectangular reference signal of constant pulse width. A pulse generator produces pulses of constant frequency. An inverter changes the reference to ac signal. A monoflop controls a first counter.
