Abstract

In the caravan awning the lateral ends of the roof and the panels forming the sides are joined by the use of fixings. These fixings are used to insert flaps for different types of fixings so that the rear dimensions of the awning can be varied with respect to the caravan length. Each intermediate flap (P) is a very acute triangle of isosceles shape, with a sliding clasp fastener type fixing at its apex to meet the flap. Two types of enlargement are possible, the greatest when the flap is fitted to the roof. The flaps are used with a certain amount of overlap.
