Abstract

The electric signal filter used to suppress any interference in a multiwire line may be inserted between the complementary elements of an electrical multipin connector. The filter comprises a metal case with a part which can fit into one of the elements of the electrical connector and with a part which can fit into the other element of the connector. An insulating material insert with axial openings for several contact pin and socket members is fitted inside the metal case. A co-axial filtering element is inserted between the pin and socket ends of each pin and socket member, the pin and socket of each member cooperating with respective elements of the connector. The filtering element has a central conductor in a conductive envelope insulated from the central conductor and the ends of the pin and socket member.
